The
movie and documentary are in the early stages of development, script writing, cast selection, soundtrack contributions,
developing contacts with interviewees, and most important, gaining more funding. So far we have a major sound studio, a
comedian, an up and coming brilliant poet, a science advisor, a major recording artist reading the book, and two
possible major investors. Check back for updates.
Documentary
In Terry Gilliam’s
movie Time Bandits, a small band of God’s helpers steal a map of the Universe
and travel through special portals that bridge different periods of time. Seeking gold and jewels, the bandits use the
portals to invade periods of history which on the map are different regions of a timeless Universe. Turning that storyline into
non-fiction, this docufilm will explore what we know today in science and beyond science about God’s map. The movie and
companion documentary literally journey through the timeless realm of all possible universes, presenting a panoramic God’s eye view of the big picture. How
is such a view possible?
In 1998 astrophysicists
were shocked to discover that the expansion of our universe is accelerating. What is the universe accelerating towards?
Today several physicists state openly that time ends in the future at the ultimate zero. Robert Caldwell of Dartmouth in
his famous Big Rip scenario paper referred to the end result of exponentially increasing expansion as "the ultimate
singularity". Sean Carroll of Caltech has stated "our universe evolves to empty space". In
physics empty space is the ultimate ground state of
absolute zero. It is the perfect vacuum. It is perfect symmetry. At zero the universe is stretched perfectly flat and extends infinitely in all directions.
What is this zero doing in our future? Zero is timelessness. The infinitely extended empty space in our future is the quantum superposition of all the worlds of the
multiverse. Our own universe is merging with all other universes.
All the greatest physicists
including Albert Einstein, Richard Feynman, David Bohm and Stephen Hawking, have each developed there own unique way of
understanding timelessness. It has long been apparent in science that past, present, and future all exist simultaneously.
Everything that occurs in time is a product of a timeless realm. What exactly is the timeless universe like?
Today the second law of thermodynamics is used like a
road map of timelessness. It describes all possible states for our universe, claiming generally that there are more disordered states than ordered states. Consequently most scientists believe the universe is becoming increasingly disordered with time. This has long been the most disappointing lesson of science because it suggests the evolution of time has no purpose or meaning. In fact the second law is like a black cloud hanging over humanity.
The
great news is that science is now in the process of discovering that time ends at absolute zero. What is zero? Zero is
not disorder, zero of course is simply balance, and balance is a powerful kind of order. The primordial void of science, in Buddhism and eastern philosophy the emptiness that becomes all being, the classic idea of nothingness,
the seeming impossible miracle of something from nothing, creation itself, are not found in the past. The timeless whole of all being from which all worlds and life
springs forth exists in the future of our own evolving universe.
The infinitely dense point of the big bang is often called the Alpha singularity. It is an extreme beyond which no
further possibilities exist. In moving away from Alpha the expanding universe follows a gradient of decreasing density, mass, and energy, toward
the ultimate ground state of absolute zero, the bottom end of physics, and the end of time, the great Omega. Alpha and Omega are both ultimate boundaries beyond which no other possibilities
exist. But how does time begin? Most physicists admit that there is no scientific evidence or even any indications of a nothing in
our past, but rather ever increasing density and heat. Stephen Hawking acknowledges this fact with No Boundary
Proposal, which describes the universe as self contained or simply existing without any sudden miraculous emergence from nothing at all.
So what then is a zero doing in our future? Simply imagine that all states or all universes physically exist timelessly, because all are merely fragments of a physically real zero.
Our world is made from positives and negatives that dance around in space with miraculous symmetry and orderliness. Zero is like a whole pie that can be sliced up infinitely many ways, but it is always still a single whole.
It is every matter universe combined with every anti-matter universe. All the positives and negatives naturally sum up
to zero. The result isn't nothing, or even emptiness. The void is timeless, eternal,
physically real, there is no potential in the void, only actuality. Zero is balance. It isn't
empty, it is perfectly full. Everything we know is less than zero, not more than nothing. Zero exists now, it has always existed,
and it will always exist. It is the native state of existence. It is what David Bohm called implicate order.
In the same way positive and negative numbers sum to zero, all the moments of time sum up to construct a greater balanced whole we call zero.
Zero is the sum of everything, not the cancellation of everything. With little effort you can even appreciate how such fractions and the whole are naturally
interdependent, always conserved, and their laws self-contained. As the most brilliant physicists have long held, Zero is
the most ordered state in all of nature, it just isn’t found in the past. It exists in the future.
What we call time, which is really a direction in space, eternally branches away from the positive Alpha singularity out into the diversity of possibilities that exist between Alpha and Omega, and because time has a goal, a destination, then time doesn’t get lost
in the chaos or disorder of infinite possibilities. Although
it is certainly true that entropy, the unusable energy in the universe always increases, all worlds in the multiverse
travel from Alpha to Omega. So half of the second law is wrong. Time's arrow is caused by the natural probability of balance over
imbalance. And balance is order. What we haven't realized in science yet is that there are two kinds of order in nature, one kind of order exists in our past, while another exists in our future. David Bohm whom Einstein expected to succeed him but who died prematurely of a heart attack also described these same two kinds of order.
Discovering that there are two kinds of order is perhaps the grandest step we can make toward understanding how nature works, revealing the governing dynamics of both the physical and the human universes. It even explains how our finite universe fits together with the big picture. Best
of all the two orders reveal distinctly that the ugly half of the second law of thermodynamics is wrong. Our universe is not winding down and dying.
That is not even close to the truth. The Omega zero in our future is the great governing attractor for all time and
change, the most ordered state of all. Hold on to your hat,
your in for quite a ride. Discovering the timeless multiverse opens a door to understanding our own universe
like no other.
Movie
The movie is about
what it means to discover the holy grail, or ultimate knowledge of the nature of reality, with all sides considered. The
movie is about the struggle to communicate a simple science to physicists who shy away from profound ideas, especially
the notion of timelessness and the idea that opposites unify rather than cancel. It is about fearing how people will
respond, especially the religious who shy away from details about the big picture in preference for vague accepted
beliefs. And the movie is about the simple beautiful truth, about discovering as real
and honest science that we are genuinely all one. There could not be a more powerful message of unity than what is
conveyed in this movie. This understanding presents a common middle ground for all of humanity, and this movie believes in people,
in portraying a future where people respond to an evolved super science that becomes something we hardly imagine to be
possible today. Truly understanding the unity and oneness of all life will eventually have a profound effect on this planet.
Also, the
overall lesson leads to appreciating the beauty and importance of the balance that exists between extremes of past
and future. Understanding past and future clearly exposes the fundamental natures and problems of past divisiveness and future orderliness. The
movie will tell several stories interspersed with each other, introducing the various ways that people have
learned to understand the background of timelessness, including Einstein, Hawking, Feynman, and Bohm, as well as
spiritual leaders in religion and eastern philosophy. The movie will weave
together those visions with the discovery that our own universe is evolving into the timeless whole of all
universes and all life, as explained in the book Everything Forever.
Scientists are just beginning to recognize that our universe is evolving and even accelerating toward the most ordered
state in all of nature, zero, which many scientists already recognize to be perfect symmetry and the ultimate
singularity.
We
are working toward gaining writing and directing contributions from Terry
Gilliam, Charles McKeown, and Tom
Stoppard. The movie will be brimming with music, and we are working on gaining contributions from Dave
Matthews, Sarah McLachlan, Patty
Griffin, Jack Johnson, Damien
Rice, Tyrone Wells, Colin Munroe,
Kim Divine, and hopefully Roger
Waters.
The
Omega State
D
The Omega state is the final
product of an expanding Universe. It is timeless, perfectly symmetrical, and infinitely extended in all directions. In
science we recognize Omega only as absolute zero. Omega is the most ordered state in nature, the ultimate singularity, a
timeless oneness of all universes and all life. Externally simple and balanced, internally Omega is infinitely complex, an overlapping of
all time and all consciousness. Omega is the underlying background of all being, the source of all, a scientifically evident,
physically real omniscience ever present in our very own future.
